Weekly Update and Bulletin 11/28/21

Hey Calvary family!

Well, I don’t know about you, but I am still in a food coma from yesterday! I hope that your Thanksgivings were filled with a lot of good food and time spent with loved ones.

Believe it or not, we are now heading into Advent! Starting this Sunday, we will be kicking our worship series called, Songs of Advent, where we will remember some of the first songs that were sung long ago building up to the coming of Christ and anticipating His return. Join us this Sunday at 9:30 as we gather to sing together, listen to a message from Chris Anton on Elizabeth’s song, and enjoy community with one another. As we journey through Advent together, we encourage you to participate in an Advent reading plan as a church family. You can find the online plan here. This is an exciting season as we anticipate the coming of Christ, and I can’t wait to be on this journey with you all!

Calvary Angel Tree Once again Calvary will be blessing the families in the 3 Calvary Homes through the Angel Tree. The tree in the lobby has angels with a link to a Signup Genius where you will be able to sign up for the Christmas gift you would like to purchase. Please return unwrapped gifts with the receipts to the bin near the office by Dec. 15. We will be adding gifts over the next few weeks, so keep checking back! Prayer and Worship Gathering Prayer is a vital part of ministry at Calvary; it deepens our relationship with Christ and helps us become more like Him. Join us for a prayer and worship gathering on Monday, Dec 6 at 7:30 in the cafe. Let's seek God together.
