Kids.
At Calvary, we want kids to know that God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever. Whether on Sunday mornings or throughout the week, your kids will be learning about God in a fun, safe, and age-appropriate environment.

Kid’s Ministries.
Nursery.
This ministry, for newborns through two years old, serves parents while they worship with the Calvary family. Our commitment is to make each child feel comfortable, safe, and cared for, every single time. Our Two-year old class offers a time of learning foundational Biblical truths.
Sunday School.
Our hope is to intentionally teach God’s Word in a purposeful and creative way so that children can apply it to their lives, know Jesus personally, and impact those around them. Sunday School takes place directly after the service and is available for kids ages 3 to 5th grade (must be age 3 and potty-trained by 9/1/2024).
VBS at Calvary.
Join us this summer for a family friendly VBS at Calvary! On June 26, July 17 and August 7, the whole family is invited for a fun-filled night of food, fun activities, Bible stories, music, and ice-cream! We’re hoping Myrna will stop in between her summer vacations too!
Dinner will be served from 5:30-6PM, followed by VBS fun for the whole family from 6-7:30PM.
GEMS.
GEMS stands for Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior. The purpose of GEMS Girls’ Clubs is to help bring girls into a living, dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ. To help foster this all-important relationship between each girl and Christ, other relationships are nurtured as well — between girls and between girls and their counselor.
All girls in grades 1st – 5th are welcome to join us upstairs on Wednesday nights from 6:15 – 7:30pm for a time of singing, crafts, diving into the Bible, and connecting with one another.
Cadets.
Cadets is a mentoring program where Christian men share Christ’s love with 1st-5th grade boys from the church and community, modeling for them what it’s like to be a man of God. And of course it’s FUN!
A Cadet meeting includes lots of things: discovering what God’s Word has to say about the things you do every day, activities, badge work and games. Cadet meetings are held in the Lodge at Calvary.
Annual highlights include Fishing Night, Rocket launching, and the Pinewood Derby.
The Cadet program is in conjunction with the Calvinist Cadet Corps, an independent (non-denominational) youth ministry organization. Founded in 1952, the Corps has more than 650 clubs throughout North America. The organization uses the title “Calvinist” to honor the Protestant reformer, John Calvin, who devoted his life to the religious education of God’s children.
