Past. Present. Future. Calvary.

My heart is full.
After gathering yesterday evening to celebrate God’s faithfulness in Calvary’s past and present, and to anticipate God’s future for our church, my heart is filled with gratitude. What gift it is to serve along side this church family!

Incase you missed it: we had fellowship over food, worshipped through singing and prayer, told the story of our 109 year history, celebrated experiences of renewal, shared insights from this season of listening including our future pastoral needs, and finally, heard what we believe God is calling us to be through our Mission, Vision, and Values.

In summary:

We -Calvary- exist to reflect the love of Jesus in the world as community gathered by God, transformed by the Holy Spirit, and sent to reflect the love of Jesus in the world and we hold to the core values of belong, believe, become, bring, and brave.

”Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” —Philippians 3:20-21
