Weekly Update and Bulletin 05/01/22

Calvary family!

This Sunday we are kicking off Missions May! Throughout the month we will be invited to spend time exploring what it looks like for us to live on mission. We will be unpacking the call that is found in Isaiah 58 to live a more missional life and “then our light will break forth like the dawn.”

Join us on Sunday at 9:30 where we will gather together to be transformed by the Holy Spirit through singing, prayer, and listening to a message from Jason Pierce from Isaiah 58. We also will have the opportunity to celebrate our graduates and kindergartners. Following the service, adult Sunday School will be in the Flex Room where Jason and Dillene are talking about the future of Missions at Calvary. We will then be sent into the world to reflect the love of Jesus to our families, workplaces, and communities.

Also, before you leave be sure to pick a Missions Devotional for you and your family! The daily devotional will guide you through Missions Month with scripture, prayer, and challenges to assist you in living a more missional life.

Governing Board Conversations Members of the Governing Board will be available to talk (answer questions, share updates and stories, etc.) to anyone interested after the worship service this Sunday.

VBS Update Calvary’s VBS “Spark Studios” is June 20-24 from 9:00am to 11:45am. Child registration closes May 15. Sign up today at calvaryholland.com/vbs to volunteer and to register your kids. Join us for a fun Jesus-filled week!
