Weekly Update and Bulletin 03/20/22
Calvary family,
We have a lot of exciting things going on this Sunday! Gather with us at 9:30am to be transformed by the Holy Spirit through worship, prayer, and hearing a message from Pastor Matthew Hochhalter. He is teaching from Luke 19:1-10 on The One Who Loved the Unloveable. We also get to celebrate Lauren Ratledge as she professes her faith. Finally in place of Sunday School, we have our last Churchwide Mixer where we will be packing lunches for Kid’s Food Basket. This is a great opportunity to live into our value of belonging as we will be able to connect with Calvary people of all generations while also supporting one of our local partners. Even if you haven’t signed up, feel free to join us after the service!
This Sunday we are also having our Ukraine Refugee Emergency Offering. We are partnering with World Renew who are on the ground in eastern Europe meeting the needs of Ukrainian refugees. Throughout this past week it has been such a cool opportunity to participate together in praying for Ukraine, and I am so excited to see how God moves through Calvary as we give together on Sunday to Ukraine.

Pinewood Derby and Pig Roast Calvary’s Annual Pinewood Derby is March 23. Join us at 5:30PM for the Connect Pig Roast and then come up to the Lodge to join in the fun and cheer for all the racers! Weigh in and registration begins at 6:15PM with the first racers rolling by 6:45PM. Contact Lisa at lvanderzwaag@calvaryholland.com.
Easter Choir We are planning to celebrate the resurrection with a large multi generational choir on Easter! All voices from third grade on up are welcome. Rehearsals will be in the evening on March 29 and April 12. Signup now here!
Womens’ IF:Gathering Join us at Calvary as we watch the IF:2022 Women's Gathering on demand over four Wednesday nights: April 20, April 27, May 4 and May 11 from 6:30-8pm. Sign up here to come and be encouraged in your walk with the Lord as we connect with other women, hear great Biblical teaching, pray, worship and discuss together. Childcare and light snacks will be provided. Feel free to come to any of the nights that work for you. We hope to see you there! Reach out to Kelli with questions.
