“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8

In this first series of the ministry year, we’re going to enter into the first 4 chapters of the book of Acts and observe the acts of Jesus in the Spirit through the witness of the early church. It’s our deepest hope that these stories cultivate a holy imagination and wholehearted willingness to creatively witness to Jesus in the power of the Spirit here and now – in the ordinary, everyday, Monday-Saturday of our lives.

We are called to be the very presence of Christ and to participate in His very ministry by the power of the Spirit. Over the next few months, we will have opportunities to witness in the power of the Spirit through our gathering (within the walls of our church building and prayer corridor) and also through different opportunities as we our sent into the world (to our neighborhoods, schools, work places and alongside our local and global partners).

Our prayer is that you fully experience the power of the Spirit and can’t help but share that power and love with others, through word and deed!
