A MISSIONAL PRESENCE
The story of God reminds us, “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administrating God’s grace in its various forms.” (1 Peter 4:10). The goal of Missions at Calvary Church is to be a faithful presence in the lives of our neighbors near and far. We desire to learn from each person and help everyone use their unique God-given set of gifts and talents to help others. Of course, we’re passionate, too, about sharing the gospel through work, beauty, and conversation.
Through generous giving, global mission trips, and serving locally, we affirm the Biblical story that we are all ministers of reconciliation, missionaries, sent to serve in response to God’s grace to us. We believe that service in Christ’s name also leads to a more fulfilling life. The Missions Team desires to help each person find their connection to serve. No person can do everything, but through Christ, we can all do something.

We would need our facilitator to show up at 5pm and set up the volunteer project, welcome all our Calvary guests, get the group started on their project, answer basic KFB questions, and clean up/close up.
